Amor Foundation, established in 2003 and formally incorporated in 2013, is a not-for-profit organization deeply rooted in the community. Our journey began from a clear vision of addressing the unmet needs of young people in our community. Our core focus is on providing preventative solution programs and events for schools, communities and entrepreneurs, with a strong emphasis on mentoring and discipleship. Amor Foundation’s reach extends to individuals aged 8-35. We are organize empowerment events including in-school mentoring programs, interactive lunch and learn sessions, and diverse workshops, all designed to foster personal and professional growth.

In-School Mentoring Program
Our In-School Mentoring Program connects young individuals with inspiring mentors, creating a supportive environment for personal and academic growth. Tailored to students aged 8-35, this program focuses on developing leadership skills, boosting self-confidence, and enhancing academic performance. Through regular one-on-one sessions, group activities, and targeted workshops, our mentors provide guidance, support, and encouragement to help mentees achieve their full potential.

Lunch and Learn Sessions
Our interactive Lunch and Learn Sessions are designed for both young adults and entrepreneurs seeking to expand their knowledge and skills. Covering a wide range of topics from personal development to business management, these sessions provide valuable insights and practical advice in a relaxed, engaging setting. Participants have the opportunity to learn from experts, network with peers, and discover new strategies for success.

We offer a variety of workshops aimed at fostering personal and professional growth. From leadership training and financial literacy to mental health awareness and entrepreneurial skills, our workshops are designed to empower participants with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive. MEET OUR FOUNDER
Jamelia Amor is a natural born leader. Her name means beautiful love and she is truly that, a woman of inner and outer beauty. Ms. Amor is well spoken and educated; professionalism is an innate part of all that she does.
She is in the business of changing lives.
Ms. Amor is the founder of Amor Foundation, a not-for-profit organization where their mission is “Building, Advancing, and Developing Families, Businesses and Communities one person at a time”. Additionally, Ms. Amor is a mentor, leader and friend, affectionately known by many as “Mama” – although she has no biological children of her own.
Each week she leads a morning devotional call on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with women ranging from 18 to 57 helping them to build a blueprint for personal growth spiritually and naturally.
Her tenacity for growth has been the driving force behind her, as she has always bounced back from the many obstacles that have come her way. She has been inspiring people of all ages to not settle for the common things of life but to always seek out purpose and destiny as that will ultimately lead to a healthy life – mentally, spiritually, and financially.
She loves to educate herself, finds great joy in educating others and is a constant seeker of knowledge and growth because she believes that the more she learns the more she has to offer those she will serve.
Her resounding faith has not only encouraged her, but has also influenced many others during her journey. It is her desire to continue to be able to influence all who cross her path. One of her missions and goals, along with her personal philosophy is to enhance the quality of life of everyone who crosses her path. She is someone you should know who is striving to create others the world should know.
